We’re looking for a full-time intern for the summer to be part of the Investor Services team. This position will work in collaboration with the Europe & UAE Market team and will formally report to the Market Director, Europe & UAE.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities for this role may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Support with the development of business proposals and other documentation, as necessary;
  • Assist with outreach to existing accounts for re-investments, responsible for generating lists, drafting emails, and maintaining a tracking system for companies Invest in Canada is currently working with;
  • Collaborate and assist Market Advisors with the identification of various programs to support projects;
  • Assist with the development of several internal pre-sales documents that the team can use on an ongoing basis;
  • Assist in managing data and key KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Third- or fourth-year student completing a post-secondary education.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes with short deadlines.
  • Fluency in both official languages is an asset.
  • A drive to learn about Foreign Direct Investment, economics, and relationship management.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellence in communication, organization and managing relationships.
